Imagine being able to strengthen you body, tone your muscles, improve flexibility, invigorate your mind, and reduce stress rolled in one routine. This overall health

Yoga originated in India almost 5,000 years ago. It offers more than your usual physical work out. It also helps one’s mind and body.

There almost a dozen of yoga disciplines followed all over the world. Each with its own philosophy and has its own pacing and posing.

Hatha is the relatively the easiest of all disciplines. The movements are slower and the poses are simpler which makes it perfect for beginners. Its main focus is with stretching, relaxing, and controlling breathing.

Lyengar is also good for beginners but unlike Hatha, which is more on breathing, this discipline is focused more on balance and posing.

While other yoga disciplines can be done anywhere, Bikram requires a specially conditioned room. Its main objective is to fulfill deep stretching so a room is heated up to 105º F. this treatment allows the muscle tissues to expand and become looser.

Ashtanga is considered as one of the hardest yoga disciplines. It more dedicated to build strength and endurance. It involves synchronizing breathing with different postures.

Those are just some of the yoga disciplines that are now becoming more and more popular.

Yoga is not just for physically fit. Elders can benefit from doing yoga routine in terms of balance and flexibility. There are also yoga routines for pregnant women. This will help delivery easier.

So if you want to improve you mind, soul, and body get in to yoga and feel the overwhelming benefits it can do for you.
