Fruits are first on the list and are all low in calories which means, to digest them, your body must use more effort: oranges, limes, apples, guava and grapefruit. If you can eat the less sweet ones with adding sweeteners, they will work best. Vegetables are next with broccoli, celery and artichokes. These three will keep you feeling full longer and are high in soluble fiber. Kale and cabbage are part of this list also. Protein rich foods are harder to digest than carbohydrates. Make sure your choices are lean and very low in fat like turkey, chicken and fish. These also contain tryptophan which can elevate your mood without additional calories. These thirteen fat burning foods will be of benefit to any program for weight loss although they are not enough by themselves.  Increasing your water intake to at least eight glasses a day is necessary too. Add to that an aerobic exercise program on a regular basis and keep carbohydrate and fats simple and low in your diet.
